Default Our new harnesses

They work really good, except Dexter's was a bit big and he weaseled out, then we totally figured out how to lessen the loop around the neck and he seems great. Gidget didn't mind hers, she always cowls though everytime we put one on her, the poor thing. But she knows that it means a walk and that she likes.

The new harnesses work well. At first I thought with Dexter's I would have to send it back and get a smaller one. But I think we have the fitting it just right on him solved.

I have to say also about the harnesses, these seems so much more humane to me than the other ones we had. They only have that bar when they are resting, so I took some padding (for shoes to fit properly, in the craft area at walmart) and stickied it on the bars so when they are at rest that doesn't hurt them. They didn't mind that.

They fit great and I like how they respond with them, it is not full of dread when these go on.

The measuring thing they described works well, I don't think they realize some dogs, not to mention names....Dexter, weasel out to be free. But problem solved.

Our groomer, Donna, even suggested them and says she suggests them to all of her clients that do not already have them. When I asked my vet he suggested these and stated that he has not seen one any better.

Thanks Erica also for your suggestion on these also. I have them and will never use another one again.

Thanks Beth! I'm so glad that the harnesses are working for you. I know I prefer a harness to a collar when walking. You have more control with a harness than a collar. I also believe that they are more humane if you dog doesn't walk well on a lead. If you have to pull back on the dog you are pulling back on the chest and not the neck.

I have the collapsing trachea issue with Gidget, so a harness is the best. They are great, I really think these are the best.

Duh...Sorry Beth! I wasn't even thinking of Gidget's problem when I posted earlier. I guess it would be awefully stupid to walk her with a collar. I don't know what I was thinking...Did I forget to mention I am a BLOND!!!

No no Erica, really I was posting with the mind set of you are right, a harness is better than using their collar. You had made a very valid point and wanted to add to it. Please know that I didn't mean to make it sound bad towards you, I didn't! I am sorry. I also thought I hit the quote button to add the reason why harness are better, and missed it all together. (how about that for Duh!!! I was a natural blonde until I hit 19 and naturally went to a color similar to Courtney Cox's hair color. I take after my dad who is no longer with us. His hair did the dame thing)

Erica,

How can Ipossibly say thank you enough????

These harnesses are the best ones I have ever had for my two. They don't even mind having these put on them. The are so much better than any of the others ones that I have owned or seen in the stores.

My vet and my groomer for them also sing the praises of these harnesses.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH Erica!!!!!
