Smile Give Thanks To Our Pets!

Pets bring so much comfort and unconditional love to our lives. A dog or cat is the friend we can always confide in - and somehow they just always understand. They greet us at the end of a hard day and stand watch over our loved ones. We frame their photographs to display at home and work, remember them on our holiday shopping list and even bring them on vacations with us. We reminisce about the joys our childhood pets brought to our lives and hope that more children will know that same happiness.
This Thanksgiving, to reflect on the important role your pets, past and present, play in your life. Their therapeutic and nurturing spirits, their loyalty and love are all priceless gifts happily given to you with nothing asked in return.

I have to say you are so right on this one Pamela. We are all truely greatful to our four legged loved ones. I thank God for mine, and will do better at remembering to tell them that I am thankful they own me!

In times of stress Jake keeps me sane.

As did Yogi & Chipp when they were alive

Don't know what I do without a furry friend in my life

Red face Re: Give Thanks To Our Pets!

I couldn't agree more. I can remember only a short time in my life that I didn't have some sort of furbaby (or 2,3...) My Molly (avatar) is the first BIG dog I've ever had. I've had peke mixes, pug, doxie mixes etc.. I adore her. She's so spoiled *I* get ashamed! lol But that's what they are for!!! My son's 18, so now I "baby" my Molly (Dal) my kitties, Lois, Tiffani and Diggydoodles.

Thumbs up Re: Give Thanks To Our Pets!

That is so true, and beautifully written.
I love my little Daisy Mae.
She is the one who helped bring me out of severe depression years ago.
I believe that's why hubby got her for me 3 years ago (Daisy was barely 8 weeks old). She always brings a smile to my face, and is beside me to give me one of her little Chihuahua hugs (she comes up and puts her face into my neck, or hair, and just stands there until I hug her).
