| Years ago I used to feed my cats their can food in the morning when I was getting ready to go to work. Well .... Lita (yes her again) didn't want to wait until I got up to fed her so she learned to turn my bedroom light on. I had a waterbed at the time and she would get up on the headboard & flip the light switch on - I would shoo her away and go back to sleep but she would come back and do it again. It got so bad that I had to tape my light switch down. I started feeding the cats their can food at night and now still do that with the cats I have now.

| Every Friday I take Gracie & Dylan to work with me as I used to do with Mr Jake. They both enjoy this as there is no one there and they can run riot for a couple of hours then its back into the car and home again. Now usually as soon as I pull up on the drive they are both eagre to get out of the car have a drink then curl up on the sofa for a nap before their tea but not last Friday. Neither would get out of the car so I left them there (making sure they were safe) while I tidyed up the house after about 20 mins Dave arrived home so Gracie got straight out of the car as she is a daddies girl but Dylan still refused to move so we left him there (he could get out the car at any time and come in doors if he wanted). At 9pm (3hrs later) Dave had to go out and wake Dylan to get him to come inside for his tea. I knew he liked the car but that was mad. LOL Staying Put 1.jpg Staying Put 2.jpg Staying Put 3.jpg

| Our cat, Tiger, used to try to keep my hubby out of bed. When it was bedtime, Tiger would jump to the edge of the mattress on hubby's side and wait for him. When Hubby would try to get into bed Tiger would rush in front of him to block him. If hubby went left, Tiger went right, if hubby went right, Tiger would go left. This would go on for several minutes. Finally hubby would fake him out and slide into bed. Tiger would then curl up next to him and go to sleep. Tiger and hubby shared this bedtime ritual until Tiger died.

| You all have such neat stories. Aren't our fur babies wonderful? We have two dogs (Pom-a-poo & Pomeranian) and one cat (Siamese mix). We sometimes think they aren't sure which species they are as they have been raised together since they were babies. Our cat, Missy, eats dog bone treats in the middle of the night on our bed, and our Pom, Sadie, washes her face like a cat after she eats. Pookie, the Pom-a-poo, sits on his rear when he wants something (not sure where that comes from). And, we enjoy and love them enormously. mizfrogger Last edited by mizfrogger : 07-16-2008 at 03:28 AM. |

| Our cat, Tiger, loved to sleep on the back of the recliner/rocker chair. One day as we were watching TV, an MGM movie came on. When the lion let out his big roar, Tiger was so startled he jumped up, came back down on the back of the chair, and knocked it over backwards. After we finally stopped laughing Tiger gave us his look that meant, "I meant to do that."

| I have a mother & daughter dog. Sasha(mother) is poodle-pom & Lexi is poodle-pom maltese. Whenever I let them out, Lexi always grabs Sasha's tail as they run out just like elephants do. ![]() |

| Jesse tries to catch little tiny insects flying around. You usually can't see them, so it looks like she's just nipping at the air. Sara tries to start running on the hardwood floor. She has no traction, so she literally runs in place for a few seconds before she actually gets anywhere. Then she runs into things because she can't stop. |
