How did you find Funny Pet Pictures?

I found it when I submitted my first picture of Heaven (foster cat at the time) and Smokey.

I had the picture and everybody told me I should put it online because it was so funny. So I typed Funny Pet pictures in my serach engine and, obviously, found this site!
I am glad I did. It is SO much fun. I love getting the pictures in my email. And it is even better now that the forum is active!!

When I started this site in 2002, the idea was to view funny pictures of animals/pets to the visitors. I collected the funny pictures from websites and people who emailed them to me. I believed those images were "public domain"..that anyone could use them and put them on a website. Later on, I discovered that wasn't true, and it was actually a copyright violation...so I had to remove them and come up with something different. That's where the visitor-submitted pet pictures came in I'm glad I made the change, this is much better. The domainname funny-pet-pictures.com became a little misleading though, people thought they could only find funny pictures, while not all pictures are funny, many are just cute. I decided to keep the domain name though, as changing it is a lot of work and "funny" is relative anyway, some people might find something funny, while others consider it not funny at all. Later on, I switched from funny-pet-pictures.com to funnypetpictures.com (without the hyphens), which most of you will remember probably.

Yes I do I have 5. 2males and 3 females.... Dogs.....They are a mixture of Viszla,Weimaraner and lab....

I found the sight while looking for pet pictures to entertain my little one. Since then my son Caleb and I sit and look through the pictures every day. He loves his cats, dogs, and bird. It's precious!

I found it one day when someone sent me a picture from it to view and loved it so kept the site to view often and than I got on the mailing list. I love all the cute and funny pictures I see almost every day.

I found it by accident one day. Joined the mailing list for the pet pictures. I've had some of my pet's on the sight. It's always a joy to see all the new pictures.Thanks Leon your sight always brings a smile even on the worst days.
