Default Gidget is at home now

Her surgery went well. She has two little pink stitches. The opening is about 2 inches long. Dexter has been following her around not leaving her side since she got home.

I was able to get her at 3:30 instead of 5 pm. And she drank a ton of water once she was home.

Now to try and prevent her from the jumping is quite a workout for me. She just wants to do all her normal things. I am trying to take it easy on her.

Thank you all for your support and kind words. This is finally over. Gidget is sleeping it off still but I am glad she is at home.

Thank you Crispy, you really helped pick my spirits up. She is not giving me the pouting or anything. I am happy she is home and I am going to relax.

Thanks again!

Glad everything is ok.
Now it's time for your work out to keep her quiet.
So she can heal.
And be up to her playful self.

Thank you to all of you. This was a traumatic thing for me (not to mention poor Gidget) and you all have helped me get through this.

Yes my workout begins with watching her. She needed a pain pill last night, my poor thing. But she seems like back to herself already. Jumping before I can catch her, running barking at the other pups that go by, wanting to play ball.

Again I just want to say thank you for all your support and helping me through this.

Beth,

Its been a little while since Gidget's surgery. Is everything still going well? No side effects or anything? Is she back to normal now? I'm assuming so. I just wanted to make sure everything was still going good for her.
