Same as Tammy....I think most of Ohio is getting rainy wet weather..we are supposed to get rain for the next 3 days...ugh. Not that cold though, its 63 out now and its only a little after 9am here.

It was hot and humid as hell today. upper 80's.. lots of sun.. lots of humidity..blah..supposed to be highs in the 60's next week..hummm..dont' know why I keep having sinus and pressure headache issues.

It was a weird weather day...nice and sunny, hot (84 at one point) but very windy..its 82 now at 7pm and we have a high wind advisory until tomorrow morning..supposed to get some rain tonight too.

I'm looking forward to cool, dry weather this coming week. We've had a nice breeze too. I wish it would stay like this all the time. But then I guess I wouldn't appreciate it as much.

Sunday evening we really had it bad here in Northeastern Ohio..wind gusts were up to 60MPH in some places..(from Hurricane Ike)..there were trees down,, power lines down...my sister had no power for more than 24 hours..she lives closer to Akron and Cleveland, which got it bad too. My daughter had 2 trees down in her yard. There was quite a bit of damage, even to the extent that some schools had to close because there was debris all over the usual school bus routes..it was kind of scary, even though we didnt get a lot of rain with it...just wind wind and more wind...

It is nice and sunny today but it's been crappy for a long time now. We got a lot of wind on Sunday as well in parts of Ontario. It wasn't quite as bad here but I drove Mark home to Kitchener and it was getting worse as I drove west. Yesterday was starting to improve and now I think we are going to have sunny but a little on the cooler side weather. We had a risk of frost last night so I had to go and cover the tomatoes etc. I used some old sheets, some of them had a few holes...............HOLEY SHEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Sorry couldn't resist)
Ok I have to go and do laundry now since it's been piling up (I try not to use my drier so until today I couldn't hang it out, but I must say Jim looks pretty good in a fig leaf)

We're still cleaning up after the wind storm.. Schools are still closed.. there are almost a half million people in southern ohio and northern kentucky without power.. mine was off for about 16 hours..lost everything in the fridge.. neighbor's tree fell in my yard..trees across the street fell..there are lines 50-75 cars deep at the gas stations..the grocery stores that do have power are crammed packed and not a lot of selections.. no ice to be found..street lights are still out in most places..it sux. had a boil water advisory.. but that's been lifted for my area..the next block down doesnt' have power.. luckily.. I live between 2 fire stations..so my grid was a priority I guess..people around here aren't prepared for this or used to this happening.. the news says this is a once in a lifetime event for this area. Henry had fun. He thought God was playing fetch with him.. he gathered all the shingles that were flying around.. he got a watering can from somewhere..neighbor lost a POOL.. still hasn't found it..another neighbor lost one whole side of his METAL roof..it was deadly projectiles flying all over the place..crazy.

I had a feeling you had lost power, you were not on for quite a while..and you guys are sure closer to where the hurricane was..I can just imagine how bad it was there! My sister actually lives a little FURTHER than us, and she had no power for more than 24 hours..we were darn lucky to escape that. Oh god, ANOTHER tree in your yard...just after all that trouble you had the last time getting somebody to come clean up the LAST mess..you poor kid.

Its sunny here and 72 today.

It has been beautiful since the wind storm. Highs in the upper 70's.. lows at night in the mid 50's.
My yard is all cleaned up..well..the tree at least is gone! LOL
