The Pet Diaries Part III: Merry Christmas!!!

Hi again everyone,

Sorry it's been so long but here is my Christmas edition of the Pet Diaries! Things are hectic for both furry and non-furry members of the family. My fur babies have a new room in house to take over and are absolutely loving it! Let's hear from them:

Ash - My first Christmas with Cassie and my new family and I'm loving it! Cassie's Mum made a new room and I LOVE sleeping on the new comfy sofa! Pebbles says the turkey is yummy because Cassie gives her some, that means I will too! I still see my old family but I'm happy here now. Thank you for wishing me better when I was ill everyone. Merry Christmas!

Pebbles - Another snuggly Christmas with my family, this will be my 12th/13th I forget which! Ash is right, Cassie sneaks us turkey when her Mum isn't looking and it's sooo yummy! I'll be snuggly all Christmas because of my fluff and kitty fat and our posh new room! Merry Christmas!

Rossi - My 10th Christmas here, I never understand why people throw away their wrapping paper, (the yummy turkey I get), but the wrapping is sooo much more interesting than what's under it! We get lots of wrapping toya on Christmas Day. Our new room is sooo snuggly I love the cushy sofa, thank you Santa Paws! Merry Christmas!

Sassi - My 4th Christmas with the family since I was a baby. And being the baby means I can go upstairs and snuggle on Cassie's bed without being told to get down! Ash still takes my biscuits though, Santa Paws please bring him a bowl of his own and some turkey for me)!

Rags - My 14th Christmas with the family. I'm an old pup now but I still love these snuggly holidays with my family Cassie gives me lots of extra hugs and is giving me a new bed with my name on it in the new year like Holly's cage cover because my bed is squished. And I get turkey too yummy! Merry Christmas!

Baby Boy - My 3rd Christmas with the family, I get the whole living room to myself. Holly is so quiet I forget she's here unless she's out running around! Ash, Pebbles, Rossi and Sassi are right, the turkey is the best!

Holly - Like Ash, my first Christmas with the family. I got my presents early, a new cage, comfy bed of hay, and lots of raisins as treats that I share with my room mate Baby Boy. He's so noisy sometimes but he's lots of fun. Cassie is bringing me a cage cover with my name on it for the New Year. Merry Christmas!

And that's my fur babies telling you how they are. It's been a fab first year of being with this website and I've loved your kind words in the hard times and your comments on my fur babies. I still miss Buster and always will but will love Ash and all my fur and feather babies as much as him. Merry Christmas and see you next year.

Ok, here is Scrappy & Silky's diary entries lately:

Dear Diary:
I see my mom looking in boxes, pulling out funny Christmas headgear and all I can think is NO NOT AGAIN WITH THE STUPID STUFF ON MY HEAD AND MORE PICTURES. I can smell stuff she is cooking and I want it, but keep my mouth shut so I won't act stupid like Scrappy begging all the time. The snow all melted, it didn't last long. I love eating that stuff & wonder what it's made out of. I got a brain freeze. Now that the holidays are here my mom is bathing me EVERY week and combing my fur everyday & sticking those stupid rubber bands in my hair making it stick straight up on top making me look like an idiot. I'm embarrased someone will see me on our walks. I used to like the poinsetta plants mom put by the fireplace, but last year Stupid Scrappy tried to eat it so this year we have silk ones-yuk. The best part of the cold weather is mom has the fireplace lit all the time & I love to lay on the ledge to it until mom makes me get off thinking I'll burn myself up. I have a stocking up, but I don't know what's in it. I hope it's a pizzle this year. Oh well diary, I have to curl up in my bed by the fire and chill for the evening.

Dear Diary:
Mom has been in the kitchen making stuff in the hot door. I don't know what it is but I've been smelling peanut butter, bacon & other stuff. I keep jumping up on her & barking but she just ignores me. I'm hoping they are my treats. She keeps using the can opener & I have to run in the kitchen to see what's up....could it be some of my food???? That white cold stuff on the ground left us, but I sure loved running in it and eating it, even though my feet got cold. I hope it comes back again soon. Mom was looking in boxes and found my favorite sqeaky toy she took away because I ate the stuffing & sqeaky out of if. I jumped all over her but she still didn't give it to me, she's mean. She put up a poinsetta on the fireplace but screams at me NO when I get anywhere near it. I wonder why. She stuck a dumb hat on me again. I shook it off in seconds though because I'm smarter than she is. I heard them talking about putting a tree up soon and can't wait. It's a great place to go under and poop. I see my stocking up but have no idea what it is for. I saw her putting paper on boxes and can't wait until I can attack them. Well, time to jump up and down on mom's back now because she is on the computer. Til next time.

OMG it's cold. Is it Thanksgiving yet? I got a new toy. That kid that Boy brought home keeps taking it from me. I keep telling him it's mine, but he doesn't listen. He doesn't listen to anybody. I keep trying to tell him when the people say NO, it means to stop. He doesnt' sleep much either. It's all good as long as he stays out of my food. He touches that, we'll have a problem.

Toby: Hmm..wonder why Mom is so stressed out..she has all these pots and pans out and is making noise..my ears hurt. Rebel, the big baby, is hiding under the bed as usual..now moms swearing at the thing she sits at and makes noises with her fingers..I cant get a decent nap around here..I think I'll go and see what dad's doin..

Toby: Why was mom shoving a camera in my face this morning and saying "look up! look up! Good doggy!"..I KNOW im a good doggy, I dont need people tellin me that all the friggin time...
Rebel: Aint nobody takin my picture this morning..Im gonna go hide..
Toby: Im restless...I wanna go outside..no wait, i just did. I wanna eat..nah, Im not hungry. Im gonna go get under moms feet and make her trip just for the heck of it...

The world of Silky & Scrappy

Silky-boy I'm tiried today. I just couldn't get comfy last night & tried making a mom sandwich with Scrappy, but then I got up & went to the bottom of the bed, nope not right either. I tried scratching the comforter to fluff it up but that didn't work either. I tried laying on top of mom's side for a while, but she kept turning over. I layed on mom's pillow, nope didn't work. I tried licking mom's ears & face to sooth myself, but no, mom only fussed at me to cut it out. I licked my feet loudly for attention, but mom yelled at me to go to sleep. I need a sleeping pill.

Scrappy-What was up with Silky last night, he woke me up again & again?

Siky-Mom let me out in the yard with Scrappy & I'm trying to see the new dog from next door. I keep peeking under the wood fence where this dog made a hole (I bet he gets in trouble) and all I can see are big feet. I came in with mud all over my face & feet & mom's mad at me. I bet she'll give me ANOTHER bath! I'm hiding in my house & hoping to catch up on some sleep. Thank goodness that annoying Scrappy is sleeping by mom.

Scrappy-I went outside with Silky & we barked & barked at our new neighbor and I tried to fit into the hole he dug and mom caught me & mom knocked on the window & scared me. Then she came outside in her jammies & slippers and made us come in. She's nice though because she gave us a treat when we came inside. Now I'm sleeping under her feet at the computer.
