Tammy had just posted on "Pet Peeves" about dogs being left outside in the cold..please take a minute to go to this link and read about this..it came in an email today from "Pets For Life".

OMG.. I couldn't watch the whole video. That tears me up inside. I will never understand for the life of me why someone would even have a dog if they were going to chain it up outside. Why do people think that is a better life than surrendering it and giving the dog a chance at a better life!

Well, I bet a LOT of (stupid asses) people get the dog for a WATCHDOG..keep it outside to scare away robbers and whatever...which is really ignorant...a dog kept inside will do the job just as well..and a dog that is warm and taken care of..loved...will be more than willing to protect its home and family!!!!!

Janet.. you are exactly right.. a dog outside.. that's not socialized will be more aggressive.. but that's not what you want.. you dont' want a dog that would randomly chew someones ass off.
I have the perfect combination with Molly and Henry.. Molly looses her cookies if someone she doesn't know tries to come in the house.. Henry doesnt' care.. he loves new people.. BUT he gets upset when someone tries to leave.. SOOO.. if someone can get by Molly..and come in the house.. they would be sitting in the middle of the living room amongst anything they tried to steal.. and Henry guarding the door not letting them leave.

Ya know...Toby is like Molly and Rebel is like Henry!!!! LMAO!!! Toby is so loud and sounds so mean when someone he doesnt know comes to the door...Ive seen salespeople and even the Fed Ex guy beat a hasty retreat when they hear his "WOOF WOOF WOOF GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR....ARF ARF ..GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!"

Henry doesn't like shadows either.. At night.. when just the TV is on..He's growled at the Boy and the Sister when they've walked by the bedroom. I've told them to say his name when they walk by. But .. per usual.. no one listens to me.. It's actually pretty funny when he does that.. Molly is a VERY sound sleeper.. when Henry growls.. she'll wake up.. but it takes her a minute to get her bearings..she'll start barking and snarling.. at the wall.. or the pillow.. until she figures out it MIGHT be something in the hallway. Of course, this always scares the holy crap out of me because I'm usually just about to fall asleep when it happens.
