| Just a thought - how about we list a movie that we really like and tell what part is our favorite or why we like it so much? I love to watch movies and am sure there are several out there that I haven't seen or heard of that would be interesting to hear about. One of my favorites is: Tombstone - I love Doc Holiday (Val Kilmer), his arrogance and talents. It cracks me up when he says "I'm your huckleberry". Although he appears to be a drunk or drug addict (maybe both), he can play Chopin on the piano and he is awesome with his pistol.

| I love the movie The Seventh Sign. Stars Demi Moore and Michael Biehn. She's pregnant. She has these flashbacks (?) where someone always says to her.. "Would you die for him?" she never answers..the end of the movie.. the apocalypse is happening..she goes into labor.. has the baby amongst the rubble.. he is stillborn..she hears the voice say, "Would you DIE FOR HIM?!?!" She reaches out toward the baby's hand.. as she touches the little hand.. she whispers "Yes!".. a light appears through their fingers.. and the baby starts breathing just as she dies.

| I love the movie "Shenandoah" with Jimmy Stewart..and I dont know who else were the actors..but everytime I watch that, i end up crying. Its about this widower who has like 6 sons or something..and war is breaking out, but he doesnt want them to go and fight..but the sons have a sense of duty and want to go out there and help defend their country...so they end up going and a lot of tragic stuff happens, and its also a little humorous in a nice way sometimes.. but in the end, when they think they have lost their youngest son..everybody is in church and when they are singing a hymn...in walks the youngest boy on crutches and the look on Jimmy Stewarts face...OMG...and then the preacher says.."Lets all stand and sing!!" ....that just tears me up every time without fail...I just love that movie!!!!!

| While You Were Sleeping is such a good movie. It gives me those happy tears at the end every time. Sandra Bullock works at the subway station taking tokens and everyday she sees this guy and fantisizes about marrying him. One day she has to save him when he falls onto the subway track & gets knocked out. At the hospital they think she is his fiancee, he is in a coma and then his family is told she is his financee & she plays along with it. In the meantime, the "coma" guys brother (Bill Pullman) and her fall in love but neither one of them tell the other. I won't tell the ending but its one of those romantic movies that I love. If you haven't seen this one - watch it - you won't be disappointed.

| If you havent seen the movie Fallen with Denzel Washington in it..you've missed a good thriller. This movie is soooo scary at times..and I dont mean like the typical teenage slasher type movies..Im talking about "supernatural" scary..and the Rolling Stones songs in it are just great and perfect for the movie!!!

| Another favorite of mine is "The Notebook" James Garner and Gena Rowlands as the older Allie and Noah (Duke) Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams the younger couple Allie has Alzheimer's and the whole movie is about Duke reading a notebook to her that she wrote about them before she lost her memory. My favorite lines in the movie are when the younger couple has lost touch for the past 7 years.. she comes back into town and they have spent the day together out on a lake.. it starts to rain.. they get back to the dock.. and she starts to walk off.. he runs after her Young Allie: Why didn't you write me? Why? It wasn't over for me, I waited for you for seven years. But now it's too late. (she's engaged to someone else) Young Noah: I wrote you 365 letters. I wrote you everyday for a year. Young Allie: You wrote me? (her mother had intercepted all the letters) Young Noah: Yes... it wasn't over, it still isn't over .. they kiss.. the next scene is him carrying her up the stairs to the bedroom..

| I was thinking of comedies that I like and this one stands out..PEGGY SUE GOT MARRIED..Its just a really nice movie to watch, with Nicolas Cage, when he was really a lot younger, and Kathleen Turner. Most of it takes place in the time of the 1950's.. with the poodle skirts and sock hops and saddle shoes ......a time I wish I had been a teenager instead of the boring 70's when I was..
