 Can you believe this? We had to switch groomers this past January. The other girl was too rushed and therefore very gruff. My dogs (who do not get hit in the head) kept cowling when you would go to pet their heads...needless to say we checked with our vet, and some friends that have their dogs groomed, and all lead my husband and me to this woman Donna. Well we interviewed her to get a sense of who we will be dealing with and we really felt comfortable with her. She has dealt with many dogs with collapsing tracheas and everything. She has been an absolute dream. My pups who would fight you every step of the way before now when you Donna, they go to the garage door (we have an attached gargae) and talk to us the whole ride (4.5 miles), then they run into greet her. Even Gidget who can be a bit standoffish. Ok, here is my reason for entering this post. Today Gidget received a get well soon card from Donna. I have never been so touched in my life. I just needed to share this.

Donna realized and informed me of Dexter cowling when she went to pick him up. She said that now he roams when Gidget is getting trimmed (as he stays wherever his siter is) and Gidget is allowed to walk around and talk to the other pups and kitties in there. (that is a good way of socializing her too) She states that he barks and she does the one shake of a coin in the can and he knows and comes and kisses her and runs some more. I am so thrilled to know her.

In her exclusive grooming shop in New York, she makes sure the celebrity pets are in good hands, while they go shopping themselves. At only $1500 an hour, she grooms the pets with a golden brush. Not only does she do that, she also sends personalized cards to the owners!"
