| [i]Oh, my Diva-girl! Why do you bully your kitty friends so? That's the sad sentiment I've been lamenting these days. Diva is my 18-month old German Shepherd Dog and after all this time since she was two months old, one might expect that she would get used to being around ten cats already. But, alas...she hasn't. In fact, now that she has grown up, she has made cats her focus of interest, much like a hobby. A sport! She loves to grab them by their necks, swallow whoever's head she comes close to, lets it go and tries for another one. On other occasions, she knows how to behave around them. She has a little bit of obedience training, just the basics, but behaving around cats certainly isn't one of them. So, now, I'm really trying my darndest to teach her that she and her kitty housemates are constantly being watched by Big Brother (that's me) and she will be evicted from her favorite kitchen if she still doesn't get the behavior thing down pat. |

| Hi, Try this when Diva grabs a cat grab her by the scruff of her nick and tell her NO Nice kitty or if you see that look in her eye that she's going to go after the cat stop her in her tracks and tell her nice kitty. When she starts to no bug them then give her a treat. Trust me you'll probally go horse with telling her nice kitty. But it does work. I still have 4 large dogs and 4 cats and all are well blended. Good luck and keep me posted on how it goes. This sounds like my old friend Straightlaced am I right. Welcome back.
