Default How is Sasha and her new family?

Hi Dar,

I know you mentioned before how everyone is adjusting well with Sasha in her new home. Are they all just plain worn out, since they probably have played non-stop since she got there? How are your other pups adjusting? Had they been around her also before? I bet your friend is absolutely thrilled that Sasha is with you, because she knows she will be totally spoiled (meaning that in a great way!) and that she can visit her and not lose touch with her too.

I hope all is still going well, which I have no doubt it is.

Hi Beth,
As you know Sasha got here Saturday morning. She is blending in great. But I noticed that she had sores on her body and she was favoring her right ear. So Sunday it's off to the vet I go Well the vet checked her out and found that she was in the healing process from a might bite.No mights found on her. Her other owner had all ready taken her to the vet weeks before. But I just wanted to be sure she was getting better and that it would not spread to the rest of my furry family. Sasha takes her meds and let's me wipe out her ear with no problem. She is pirkey and not iching. So once all her sores heal she'll be as good as new.I have attached a picture of Stevie (in the back) and Sasha (up front) that I took today. You can see they are very close...

Hi Dar,

Oh my goodness do the two of them look happy together. I am glad to hear she allows you to clean her ears. She trusts you and knows you are trying to help her. (I am not saying her othr owner didn't try to help, I meant strictly that she likes you)

I certainly hope her sores heal quickly.

Now how many other dogs/cats do you have? Isn't there another pup? If so how is that blending coming along?

I am so thrilled for you and your new member of the family.

OK.John and I have 8 furry children all together. 4 cats and 4 dogs. 2 Siberian Huskys - Stevie and Sasha one Neapolitan Mastiff Walter and the baby our Great Dane Holly. Now that's what you call a zoo on a singal corner lot... But we wouldn't have it any other way. All of them are getting along as if they have been together there whole life. shasha.jpg

Stevie Francis.jpgThe first picture is Sasha 3 years ago when she lived next door. The second picture is Stevie and Francis.
