I"m in Ohio.. but my father.. who lives in Oregon.. called me Sunday to see if I was ok.. I said. WTF? you got old timers or something??.. I'm in Ohio remember..he laughed.. and asked me if I was getting any rain yet.. I told him he had been gone from Ohio too long.. he must not remember how far Ohio is from Florida! He's goofy.

My sister is flying out to Florida tomorrow to see my neice..but its in a different part of Florida so I guess there wont be any problems.
I wouldnt be surprised if Ohio someday DOES get a hurricane..why not..we get every other kind of stupid weather..LOL

I called my sister yesterday who lives in the Keys (Tavernier) and she only got rain and 50-60 MPH winds. Everything was good there.

I love the phrase "old timers" hee hee. Actually, our weather reporters here in Indianasaid that we could get some wind and rain from Fay. Of course we all know how reliable weather forecasters usually are.

My sister made it Jacksonville ok, but she said it was raining hard and very windy and her grandsons (who have actually STARTED SCHOOL THERE ALREADY) were told to stay home by the school, because of storm warnings...geez, i didnt know they started school that early in Florida. Thats just ridiculous.
