Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. What is the most popular main dish there?

Sorry I am only now responding....I guess all the Thanksgiving turkey made me dopey....(that's my story and I'm sticking to it lol) Thanks for all the well wishes my forum family.

I had a great Thanksgiving although it was a lot of work with about 30 people and it was hectic but I loved seeing all of Jim's family. My family consists of one brother and his wife and their combined 4 boys. Maybe next year I will have them out here instead, it would be sooooo much easier.
My meal consisted of a turkey, a chicken, a ham, stuffing, mashed rutabaga (turnip?) mashed potatoes, corn, deviled eggs, shrimp, veggies and dip, cheese and bread and kolecannon (an Irish dish that Mark's girlfriend Brenda made that she said came from her great Grandmother) It consists of all root veggies and they are cooked and mashed together..mmmmmm yummy! The desserts were brought here by my inlaws and that's the best part because I get to keep all the sweet leftovers. We have some pretty good bakers in the family too.
Their were 9 kiddies and they all had a ball until the dogs accidentally got let out of the workshop out back. Some of the little girls are afraid of dogs and their was a lot of screaming and crying for a while.......but once I calmed down it was ok LMAO.

Next year can I come to your house? all that food sounds wonderful. I would even wash, dry and put away the dishes. You use paper plates, right?
