Did you know Tammy Cherry is adorable and the bed picture cracked me up as I have 2 dogs and sometimes 2 cats on my bed and can't move!

Did you also know that my doctor is finally going to do something or at least try and find out why my foot is numb and swollen since I had my knee replaced! I go for an MRI on my back Monday!

Did you know?????

Sometime yesterday between Michael going to work (around noon) and me getting home from work (7 pm - yes late again) our finished basement, with carpet and Michael's movie theater room, I had a river of water and about 2 inches of standing water there? Yep, the sump pump burnt out and we had to replace that, no home owners insurance here covers flooding, and we have to call in for carpet people to come in with industrial dryers to help prevent mold from happening. There apparently was huge chunks of ice in the sewer area preventing our sump pump from doing its job properly and it burnt it out, which it was on borrowed time anyways. The new one we have is much larger and the sewer and water guy that came out to our house at 9 pm said it was a real good one and that he has one just like it at his house. YEAH I love excitement like this.

Did you know.. Beth are you sure your homeowner's doesn't cover stuff like that.. it wouldn't be considered typical flooding..I think it would fall under something like water damage..like if pipe busted or something... cuz I don't have flood insurance.. but if the sewer or something backs up in the basement..I AM covered for that.

Did you know????

Thanks guys. I have looked into it and it does not look like it will be covered by the home owners insurance. We had to have professionals come in to fix this and it was $1000.00 worth of cleaning and fixing. (I can't make enough standing on the corner in a year to pay this off.)

Then my dryer decides to give out. I can hardly wait to see what else decides to help me lose my mind completely. (looks like Michael is going to have to be on the opposite corner.)

But to look on the brighter side of life, which right now is not coming easy for me, it was 50 degrees for two days in a row here.

Did you know...Beth, I dont understand why you are responsible for the cleaning, etc. Didnt you tell me once you rented? If so, you should not be responsible for any damage done by water. That is the Owners responsiblity! (If im wrong about you renting, sorry)
I just came from the post office..grrrrrrr..they used to have vending machines where you could buy a book of stamps or just a few stamps. They got rid of them and now you have to stand in line forever just for stamps..and they only have 2 clerks working there....GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR....
