Oh Pam, poor Thor...is it his age catching up with him, or is he having a lot of problems moving around due to some injury or something? Are you going to have him checked by the vet? Poor doggy, please give him a kiss on the nose for me...I hope its just the cold weather and not something serious...please let us know how he is doing again..

Did you know it's his age he is 14 and I am worried about him. I just hope when I'm not home he lays down and sleeps while I'm gone. When he goes down he can't get up by himself and cries for help.

Oh poor Thor...like you, i hope he does just take a nap while you are gone...its got to be hard on him not being able to get up...and I know it breaks your heart..its so hard to watch a pet get older and not be able to do the things they once could...and it seems that some dogs age fast after about 10 years, dont they? One minute they are frisky and running around like puppies and the next...why do they have to age so damn fast??
Please give Thor our love and i know everyone will be rooting for him to get his strength back somehow...we are all here for Thor and you. Let us know how he is doing any time.

Did you know? I am sorry about Thor. But, it is wonderful how far REAL animal lovers will go for their babies. I carried our 18 1/2 year old kitty to his litter box several times a day when he couldn't get there on his own. I felt privileged to help him because he was a member of my family and he loved me, too.

They are indeed family members, and we grieve when they aren't able to do all the things they did when they were younger. You are such a good mommy to Thor.

Did you know..it just breaks my heart hearing about Thor. It's such a trying time when our furbabies age and can't do things they used to be able to do with no problem.

My son hosts a meeting once a month at his pub? It is called, Columbus Area Classic Alers; better known as C.A.C.A. (the official tee shirts are brown, because, well, you can guess why.)

SOMEONE has a sick, sick sense of humor!

Members bring in samples of their home brewed beers and ales to be critiqued (and sampled!) We have a lot of fun and we learn what works in brewing beer and ale and what doesn't work.
