Smile Glenn @ 30yrs

Glenn.jpg Glenn2.jpg Glenn 3.jpg

I've already posted a picture of Glenn in Jake's Holiday Pics but wanted to tell you a little about him.

When he was about 4yrs old he was sent to the sales because he hurt his back & couldn't jump any more and that was all his owners wanted him for.

For some reason Dave went to the sales that day (though he doesn't ride & wasn't really wanting a horse) and saw Glenn, he enquired why he was there and when he found out it was just because he couldn't jump any more and he was only 4yrs old he asked them how much they were selling Glenn for then went to the bank drew the money and bought him.

When the blacksmith & the vet came to see him they both new Glenn and said that though he couldn't jump he could have been kept for light hacks but the family who sold him were into competeing.

Glenn has never been ridden since as Dave decided that he should live the rest of his life relaxing and being spoilt.

He is 30yrs old now and though now starting to look on the thin side due to his age he is as fit as a fiddle and proved that when he had a run around his field with Jake when we were there on holiday.

Dave you are wonderful. I can't say it any better than that. It is true and to the point. The world needs more people like you.
