Default A big hello from the Midwest

I'm from a small town in Missouri and a big time animal lover. My home is ruled by my 10 year old Norwegian Elkhound mix, Jake and my year old Pomerian, Tallulah. I am grandmother to Katy, a corgi mix, Hannah, a shepherd mix and Peanut, a poodle. As you can see I raised some dog lovers and they should be coming to visit me this week, 5 dogs all in the same house at the same time. They don't play together too well but have learned to tolerate each other so we don't have any fights over who is alpha.

I got Jake from the pound in '99 where I was told he was 3 years old. He had been badly abused by children and does not like children to this day. Tallulah I got from a breeder because she has a bad knee and the breeder didn't want her bred, however to see her run, jump and play you would never know it. I have a large fenced in back yard and my neighbors get a kick out of seeing Jake running across the yard followed by a little ball of fluff.

I will try to send pictures sometime soon but I'm having problems learning to use my new camera plus Jake doesn't like to have his picture taken and Tallu is seldom still long enough to capture anything but a blur.
