I feel bad that there are no postings in this forum so I will add my two cents.
When we first moved out here (country) almost five years ago it was the beginning of winter. Everything was ok for a few months but one day I was on the phone and could hear other people talking but they couldn't hear me. I don't mean the person I was actually talking to, they could hear me but the other people couldn't. It turned out that some mouse had made a nest in the phone box that connected the 5 or perhaps 6 houses out here and had chewed the wires and some had touched each other and I was hearing some of my neighbours. At the time I didn't really know any of them so I wouldn't have recognized their voices, too bad maybe I would have heard some juicy gossip lol! Anyway the lines got fixed but we have still have some mousy visitors when the winter is really cold. They can always find a way in it seems. Our hound Daisy is a pretty good mouser considering she is a dog and a few times I have found a chewed up mouse where she has left it. That really grosses me out but at least I know they aren't going to jump out from somewhere and scare me which has happened before. Anyway that is my mouse story.

I've heard voices once as well, never knew what it was, who knows, it might be a mouse as well

Where we used to live we also used to get mice. We were luck that they didn't chew any wires but they did used to pinch dog biscuits from Chippie & Yogi's (neither who are still with us) dishes even if you were in the room.

I feel bad cuz nobody has been posting on here...i guess i can talk about mice...when i walk the dogs by the woods, there are field there and i see them scurrying through the weeds....ummm...lets see....what else...oh yeah...one time Toby starting pawing at a tree in the woods and a bunch of baby mice started coming out and then Toby...uh..never mind.
