"Ususaly consistancy and a good obediance school trainer can relive this problem in the early stages, sometimes! Tip if you can put your hands in or around their mouths while they are eating, or even pet them it will be ok, if not find a new home w/no children and he'll be fine. (growling w/bones also be careful, they may not bite you but they will bite (nip) the children.)"

"I watched the Martha Stewart show a few weeks ago when she had a trainer on named Wisper something and he had trained a dog with your dogs behavior by having the dog "WORK"..He said the misbehaving was caused by the owners. That the dog didn't have a purpose.
Please don't give up on the dog without giving it a try."

"All of the comments are right. I have had many, many dogs over my life time and postive reinforcement works great. Buddy looks like he is a puppy. If he is, he may only be trying to play and figure out his place in the 'pack' (family - for us humans). Us a sharp loud "no" when he does. This with the positive reinforcement has always worked for me."

"I agreee with the training that involves the kids and getting him fixed. Any problem can be overcome. I would not give up on him!"

"I had the same problem he needs to get training and make sure the kids are there, he is jealous of the attention the kids get, please try to work out this problem!"

"Have you had him neutered? That will reduce aggession, but will not change his personality. (that is a myth). He will be healthier and happier after being neutered."
