"My Daisy (peke/pug mix) is also a rescue. We had just lost our Shih Tzu, Trixie, and we were devastated. I waited about a month and couldn't stand it, I had to get another dog. I ended up at a vet clinic that cares for sick animals at the pound. I wanted another Shih Tzu, but they didn't have any. The lady said "we have a peke/pug mix" and I said "no I want a Shih Tzu". I was walking out the door and I turned and said "let me see her". She put her on my lap and that was it, I had to take her home. I will always say Daisy was sent to us from up above, because she needed us and we needed her. We think she was about 5 years old when we got her, and we've had her for 6 yrs. She's getting old and beginning to have heart problems, so I know our together is limited, but I can't let go yet, I love her too much. Watch the site I will post a pic of "Day-Day", just be careful, just her pic might make you fall in love with her!!!!!"

"Thanks for all the sweet comments about Sam, you guys! His story truly does have a happy ending. The very nice man who rescued him and his family from that vacant apartment found good homes for Sam's siblings, and he ended up falling in love with the Mama, so she has a safe, forever home with him, where she will be loved and looked after. I'm going to go post a picture of Sam that shows how cute he is awake LOL. :)"

"How precious Sam is! I am so glad that a nice person found those poor kitties and momma kitty! I also hope the person who left them there gets what they deserve! Animals do not choose to be taken in, we chosose them and people need to remember that! And for goodness sakes get them spayed or neutered!

I wish you and Sam and all his new siblings a long happy life of love, naps, eating and more naps! LOL"
