“This is Miss Heidi, the Diva with an attitude. She has a mind of her own... more than any other dog I've known. Actually she is my husband's dog so I don't take credit for her behavior training or lack thereof.

We have four dogs... and when we let them out in the backyard, they know they are there to get down to their business. But not Heidi; she thinks the only reason to be outside is to play with those small green lizards. When the dogs come back into the house, they get a treat. Heidi expects hers to. After she's done eating it, she runs to the door and pees on the floor. I think she does is just to annoy me.

She also has a paper fetish. Do all Golden Retriever's eat paper? My husband and I have to hide our mail, our newspapers, our grocery lists, etc. If anything is left out on the kitchen counter Heidi will find it and eat it! Last week she ate a whole roll of stamps. The day afterwards I caught her eating a $20.00 bill. I honestly don't know what I'm going to do with her! :-)” - Kit Danes

"It only took my german shepard 3 hours to get through our area-wide phone book. it was three inches thick. he also dragged my love seat 15 ft. & ate the entire arm of it off in less than 4 hrs."
