Wild rat NEB
“Oh no...we don't just save cats!! lol Here is a baby wild rat that my husband saved from work. His co-workers found a nest of baby rats and were killing them...he managed to get 2 and only 1 survived and we named her NEB (backwards for BEN remember the movie "Willard"??? lol) Thanks to finding the "ratlady" on the internet, with her help, Neb survived and was with us way past the 2-3 yrs normal life span, she lived for 5 yrs!! We just lost her this year and I miss her dearly. I miss seeing her jump up and down excited to see me (and wanting some cheese too hahahaa!) This pic is about a week after we got her and her eyes were just opening up!! We had to drip milk into our hands so she could lick it up as she was just too small to nurse on the bottle!!!
