Three Best Friends Forever - Added: 06/20/2007

Three Best Friends Forever
“This is a picture of my Buster Baby, my dog Rags a.k.a my Ragamuffin and Rossi the Owl-Kitty. Buster passed away on June 15th this year. I really like to believe that he, Rags and Rossi really were three best friends. Sorry if it's a bit fuzzy I took this on my phone. If it's a bit dark to see Rags lying in the middle of the basket I made for him, Buster is snuggled up to him in the front and Rossi is on the left hand side but is difficult to see because she's so dark. The three of them really were best buddies, Rags never minded sharing his bed, he even let Buster climb on him and go to sleep! Rags is usually bouncy and full of life, but since Buster died he's been so calm when I'm around, Mum says he knows I'm upset and I really believe he does. Rossi's still her grumpy self, but I think she understands what's happening. Pebbles our tortoiseshell has taken to the bed I made for Buster before he died. I'll be trying to post a picture of her soon. She and Buster were closest, as they were both young kittens together. Our youngest Sassi isn't as affected but I like to think she feels sad about it too, and Rags like I said knows I'm sad. There's nothing to do now but move on, but I still miss my Buster so much and I know his best friends do too.” - Cassie Jones

"Yes, they grieve, and they always let you know. I hope on time you will feel better, for it's going to be healthy for the others. When Libby passed, there was only Mosky and Vente, but they spent days wandering around libby's favorite corner and sometimes scratching and even laying there as if they knew. Animals feel, no matter what they say. To deny that is so stupid. i can tell you I've learned so much with them. Buster will never be forgotten, and be sure you'll dream with him many , many times. He will tell you how he feels and you'll feel the pain less and less. You will see, friend."
