"I took Gracie to the groomer who she is very comfortable with and her groomer told me she got a little fussy at the end, but she's perfectly OK. She wasn't "mad" at me and the next morning she woke me up like she does every day, by walking on my head.

She is very beautiful with her long hair, but this is best for her during the hot summer.

"My brother shaves his cat's fur every year. It's a long haired cat. He says that it's cooler for the cat in the summer. I'm not sure about that. But, it does help keep the fur from getting matted easily. And, the cat doesn't seem to mind."
