I had a dog, DUKIE, for 15yrs. from puppy up, and believe me, I know how you feel.
Then I had another dog after DUKIE, SMOKEY, for 13yrs., even though he could never replace DUKIE, he had a different, special place in my heart.
Now I have TROUBLE, who is 4 and BEAR, who is 1 1/2 yrs old. and now I really got my hands full, but I wouldn't change it, I love them all. Good luck to you"
