“This is Lily, Lilian when she's in trouble! She is sunbathing by the back door. She loves it when it's sunny, and when it's winter she will sit in front of the heater. She also sleeps under the covers at night, especially when the electric heating blanket is on. I've heard though, that almost all dachshunds do that.” - Theresa

"I don't blame her for sleeping under the covers, she is soooo cute, i cover my cat but he doesn't like it i guess cause as soon as i cover him he gets up and moves, why is that, does anyone know"

"Lily is really a pretty baby, I love her markings and colors, I don't think I have ever seen a white and tan Doxy. You are right, Doxy's love the sun and all of mine love to sleep in the window during the day. I have one that will lay in the yard all day working on her tan!! Mine love to be under the covers also. they are such joys."

"I dont think I've seen a doxie that color before. Yes all Doxies sleep under the covers. Mine is under covers all day long except when he is sunbathing upside down outside or eating. haha"
