“Hi again, Cassie once again bringing you the now oldest pet I have. His name is Rags, sorry for the fuzzy picture, he will be 14 soon. He came to us after being thrown from car after our Cavalier King Charles: Chloe died. The experience left him very afraid of cars and he can't take a trip without being unwell. He has a very scruffy coat, which earned him the nickname 'Raggamuffin' from me! He also has a strong dislike of ginger people, (no offense to any people reading this with ginger hair). Both these things led us to believe he was thrown from a car by a red haired person, I guess that means David Caruso can never come for a visit! LOL! He shares our home with 3 other kitties that are ours, 1 kitty that's trying to move in, and 1 very chatty parrot! He's a real good sport about our other kitties Pebbles and Rossi taking his bed from him! That's it in the picture, I made it for him myself at my charity work placement. He absolutely love it when I brought it home for him, it has his name on it and everything! He's a very loveable dog and gladly welcomes anyone to our home, he's a Wire Fox Terrier cross I believe, but I know for certain he has Terrier in him! A few years ago he also shared our home with my Nanna's dog a Collie/Alsatian cross who came to us after Nanna passed away. He kept trying to 'do things' to her, and that earned him a trip to the vet! After that they got along brilliantly, until Tanya died, he would wander around the garden and kitchen where they slept looking for her. Ever since our neighbour kitty started coming around after Buster died he's taken a real shine to our 'kitty lodger'. His favourite treats are prawn crackers, which he gets every time we have a Chinese takeaway, and biscuits, especially rich tea which he always gets at bed time. Even in his golden years he hasn't slowed down much, and he's still a puppy at heart. Our family has mainly been cat people, but meeting a doggy like Rags really made us reconsider. "Hi, cassie ! happy to see you are getting better after Buster's passing. it is wonderful to see what a fantastic family you have, all those cats and dogs that bring you joy. I think Buster visits you often...( well, you already know that too...) keep loving your ''children '' , all the stories are great. they must be very happy with you.By the way, raggamuffin seems to be quite a character !"
