Rat Mira - Added: 09/03/2007

Rat Mira
“This is a picture of my rat Mira and myself on my wedding day in March of this year. She had a large tumor and four months after this picture I had to put her down. She had a short life, a little under three years, but she was the sweetest little rat and I couldn't of asked for a better pet. She was fun, energetic, and loved playing with my cat. I miss her, but if I want to see her, all I have to do is look at my wedding album.” - Candace Gavigan

"You don't see too many rats on here, it's a shame they have such a bad reputation when they are really just sweet little things. So sorry about Mira but at least she lived to see your big day. God bless :-)"

"I'm so sorry for your loss. What your husband has written is so true and so beautifully written. I have 3 dogs and three cats who are my life. I can't imagine my life with out them. Cherish your memories as I'm sure you are, and remember how much she loved you. Please look up on the computer it's called "Rainbow Bridge", all I have to say is it better be true. Take Care"

"I just wanted to thank all of you who have taken the time to appreciate my Wife and Mira. I don't know if you guys know how much it means to my lovely bride and me. The loss of Mira was something that is to be truely only understood by people whose pets are more than just pets, they are our children. They make their way into our hearts and lives with their little intelligent expressions and unconditional love us and our love for them. To those of you who understand this, you may understand thelove that my wife, Candace, has for Mira still to this day and will have for the rest of her days. I can tell you all that Mira was the most gentle and playful rat that I have ever encountered. She was very fond of playing with my wife and I. Her favorite games being peek-a-boo, hide and seek and wrestling with our hands. I ever there were a rat that should have been a human child, then that rat was named Mira. Once again, Thank You All."
