Rossi the Owl Kitty
“Hi once again, this is another one of my family's beautiful kitties, this one named Rossi after the motorbiker Valentino Rossi (you can blame my brother for her getting a boy's name). She's close to 10 like our other kitty Pebbles, She's an even bigger mardy than Pebbles or my Buster Baby. If she's on your knee and you don't stroke her she'll nudge your hand, or face or whatever until she gets a pat on the head! My mum commented a short while ago that she looks like an owl, I personally think her mane makes her look like a lion, but I think Mum's right because she's got the big staring eyes of an owl and thus aside from me calling her our 'Rossi-Ossi', she's also now our little 'Owl-Kitty'. Back when my family had 6 cats, I'd in my mind put them into pairs of which two would be friends. There was Buster and Pebbles, because they'd been kittens together, next was Rossi and our white kitty Ellie, who sadly was killed by our horrible neighbour about 1 year ago September. Rossi was depressed for a while after that because the two of would always sit together looking grumpy, and finally was our youngest Sassi and Max. Max died about 2/3 years ago. I've never forgiven myself for not letting him sit on my lap like he wanted. Rossi's favourite treat like Pebbles is Ham, and she's always first to grab a piece. She's always purring now, I just know she's telling me to keep going in her own grumpy way. Hope you all love our little owl kitty as much as we do.” - Cassie Jones

For some stupid reason, it seems when animals are treated cruelly, their aggressors don't get the same kind of treatment that they really deserve. Let's hope that changes with time."
