Six months of Floppy !!
“For those whose pet life depend on strict care and medication (and an overdose of love) it wont seem strange that I am celebrating
Floppy's six months birthday. You see, life since he came to us has changed drastically: the day starts at 5am, with hot bath therapy so he gets that early boost, then his shots (he is diabetic). After that, a 15 minutes walk on which he can't run much, or hop much since he could brake a bone at any wrong step. Every two weeks he has his blood tested, due to a bone marrow disorder, that has left him with a cardiac condition. No excesses for Floppy, everything has to be measured carefully. It's funny, few month ago, doctors told me he wouldn't make and it was better to put him down. But as I once posted here, I didn't think our Braveheart wanted that! Now, although Mom, Dad, and even Grandma have a heavy schedule with our little giant, we are more than happy to see him just enjoying every single moment of life! We have adjusted everything, even the rest of the family, dogs and cats, seem to understand. So, every day is a miracle for Floppy, and I will never regret a bit of it ! We all love you, baby !” - Diana

"You & your family are, just, wonderful people. Thank you for your kindness & compassion for animals. I'm living on a very limited income or I'd do the same thing as you. I love animals."
