"I believe those who mistreat defenseless animals are sick individuals who have lost "control" of their lives. I suppose the "abuse" provides them with a sense of "power" and "control". Certainly the same goes for children. It appears Squeaky's life was forever changed that fateful day and life holds nothing but love and sunny skies in the future."

I guess I forgot to say that we found homes for rescues two through six...we kept only BB and Squeaky. Little Squeaky's mouth is deformed. Its jaw with bottom teeth is shorter than top...they don't meet. Long nose and top teeth are out further than bottom ones. That doesn't slow down this little dog...she still manages to eat and never walks, she runs all the time. Happy little Squeaky!"
